Feasibility

Gain a rapid proof of concept for protein production in Pichia pastoris.

Our feasibility studies evaluate expression levels, secretion efficiency, induction behavior, and overall process suitability for your protein of interest, while providing small quantities of protein for application testing. The study enables assessment of Pichia pastoris as an expression host and offers the opportunity to evaluate the performance of our proprietary methanol-free, inducible expression platform. Strains can be transferred directly after the study or further optimized through a dedicated strain development program.

The feasibility study begins with the generation of recombinant strains, followed by expression screening to identify the most promising candidates. Selected strains are then cultivated in bioreactors, and protein samples are prepared and analyzed to assess production performance. Based on the results, additional strain and process engineering strategies can be explored to further enhance expression levels. Feasibility studies can be customized to meet your individual needs.
